Did You Not Yearn For Me?

(2023-2024)Did You Not Yearn For Me? is a collaborative project which presents remembering one’s homeland as a reaffirming experience. In the face of distance and change, Saudi photographer Redha Al Hammad and Sudanese writer Dalia Mustafa present an interconnected depiction of home. The work is embodied by a holistic form of remembrance which accepts the homeland from all angles - the fleeting and the everlasting, the warm and the callous, the intimate and the infinitely distant.
